Hellooo
So, pretty boring week. We had a split with the zone leaders on Wed. bis Thur., so that was fun. We doored into a Nazi on Fri. He was supprisinlg nice lol. Um, Pres. Ninow came to our ward on Sun. to give Elder Stradling his last interview. There was only like 10 people there, so it was a small meeting. I was left to talk to people by myself. Luckily, i can somewhat speak German. We´re at church at 8:30, and it starts at 10 and goes till 12. Um, yeah. So you know how in the US you cant just open up a 6 pack of anything in the store and take one? Thats all they do here lol. And dogs dont usually have leashes cuz theyre so well trained. Um, it snowed a tad, but not like you guys. I feel bad for CT. Thats a bummer. The roofs are definatly not ment to handel it. Oh, and THANKS FOR THE CARD. It was hilarious.
My comp knows something about transfers coming up that I dont, so 1 of 3 things is happening: 1. Im staying and getting a new companion.  2. Weimar is getting closed and/or whitewashed or 3. Im becoming District leader. So, dont send mail yet. Ill let you know on Mon. Other than that, pretty usual week. We´re teaching a couple people, but no prospect for baptisim (my opinion). But yeah, I think thats about it. If I think of anything else Ill write a letter or somethin. K, Tschüß!

Hellooo.
So, Life is Gute. The nice weather just ended and its started getting cold again :( Oh well. Soccer was okay. So instead of basketball courts they have Soccer platz, which is basically a basketball court for soccer. Except this one had a giant tree in the middle of it, and we played with some really annoying German kids. We called the jerk one "Choncho" (Nacho Libre reference) We did everything we could to hurt him without blatently hurting him haha. Then we played Ultimate Frizbee. It was fun. It was just our distrikt, so only 6 guys. OH, so I gave myself a haircut like 2 weeks ago. Its not half bad. But I dont wanna do it again haha. I finally got Uncle Frank & Aunt Linda´s package. It was pretty awesome. I got rootbeer, PB, hot chocolate, and some other stuff! I just finished reading the Book of Mormon for the 1st time, and now Im doing it in German. Suprisingly I can undertand most of it. I also just finished Our Search for Happieness and Our Heritage. We went to a funeral on Thursday morn. for one of our ward members. It was snowing, and German Graveyards look really creepy, but soo cool. OH. I gave a talk last week. It was on the prophecies of Isaiah and John the Baptist and their Revelations of the Savior's earthly mission. It was all in German too haha. I think everyone understood me. I guess I can pity you guys now cuz of the snow, cuz we havnt had any, so, you have my pity.  Germany lowered the prices on stamps from 1,75€ to ,75€, so its affordable now haha. I was gunna send a letter out to everyone at home like this week, so that'll be my reach-out. But yeah, thats about it. Im gunna put more pics up today. Nothing really exciting going on this week. Transfers are in 2 weeks or less, cuz half our distrikt is going home. Ill prolly stay here, and I dont know who could be coming in. Hopefully its someone I can handle haha. OKay, I think thats about it. If I think of something else Ill let you know. K, tschüss!

Hello home!
Week was pretty good. Finally went to the concentration camp on Monday. It was really cool. Ill have to put pics up next week cuz I dont have alot of time this week cuz we're playing soccer in a bit. Its like 60 degrees here. Its been like this for the past week, but we`re supposed to get snow sometime this week. bummmmer. I had brusselsprouts for the 1st time yesterday...theyre NOT very good. BUT I eat everything on my plate, and luckily Germans love blending their food with others, so it usually taste pretty good. Stinks to hear about the snow you got. Now I kinda have pity for you, cuz its so nice here. I had another split on Wednesday with our Distrikt leader. It was pretty cool. We have a real cool distrikt, but 3 of them are going home in like 3 weeks, so Me and Elder Sorensen will take over our areas....weeee. For packages, I would just send them to the mission address. Ill just get them at Zone conference. Im kind of sorry for Zak B. hahaha. (our family friend who just got his mission call to Moscow)Russias like the 2nd hardest country to serve in. Greece is the hardest cuz your not allowed to proselyte or youll get thrown in jail, or worse. Russia is almost just as bad, but not quite. Im sure Moscow will be alittle easier, but Ich habe kein anüng (Ive never been there) haha. Thats about it for this week. It was rather boring. OH, so we have a ward member that died. She was 97! So, our ward wants us to go to her cremation. So, we`re gunna go haha. Apperantly she ran in the olympics! So, yeah, thats about it. K, i gotta go write lots of people in a short time. K tschüss!

HEllo everyone!

I did get your letter in the mail like last week! Thanks for having everyone sign it! Ill try to write back when I get more envelops. Im glad to see that Travis may be going back to school...lol. My companion loves Travis's Random movie! We watch some of it like everyday. Tell Präsident Stratford I said guten tag! hahaha. Im getting used to the speed of the language, but its still a little tricky. Probably will be for a little while, but im working on it. I did get your package in one piece. Im just glad customs didnt charge me haha. I have not gotten Uncle Franks package yet, BUT it IS in Erfurt, so im gunna get it on Thursday. Not much goin on here. Its 50 degrees and awesome! Weimar flooded yesterday. Im trying to get 700 pics up in like an hour, so its a little tricky. They definatly won't all be up today. But its a work in progress. I am gettin fatter, but only because Im being polite...and German food is awesome. But i think ive lost some weight from walking everywhere. Not quite sure on plans for Pday. Its always never really planned. We just wing it. Oh, and we had zone conference in Nürnburg again. I had to say the blessing on the food...auf Deutsch. It went well. Luckily i can speak german hahaha. But, yeah. Thats about it. I gotta another split this week in Nordhausen with our distrikt leader, so that should be good. OH, When we got back from zone conference, we found out a pipe in the house below us was busted and the guy there blamed our shower for it. So we called the office to see what they could do, and they never called us back haha. But we dont care anymore, so we're taking showers anyways. And he's still blasting tehcno at 2 in the morning. So we just turn on the shower and it stops hahaha. Thats about all i can think of. I have alot in my journal, so i may have to recap in 2 years. K, i gotta do alot of stuff. Tschüß!

January 3,2011

Hellooo
So, Im good. Week was pretty slow. For New Years we ate at a members house (schnitzel, carrots & taters) OH, ive gained like 13 pounds. Just letting you know. Then we cleaned all day, watched another movie at the church, went to bed regular time, and woke up at 12. IT WAS A WAR ZONE. So, Germany doesnt really have firework restrictions, so they just light them off anywhere they want. It was pretty chaotic. I got a cool video, so Ill have to upload that. Funny story about my package. So, as I am writing this, I dont have it. BUT, i got a slip to pick it up here in Erfurt. Apperantly it got held up in Customs, so I have to go pay for it. Next time you send something, be as vague as you can on the customs slip so I dont have to pick it up anymore. Its prolly the Ipod and new shoes. Apperantly that happens with new shoes...and mp3s. But yeah, Ill pick it up today. Sorry to hear about mckenzies sledding accident, but thats what happens. Sledding is a mans sport...About "Today I taught YW. We went over King Noah, Abinadi and Alma. My point in the lesson was for them to know that by living the Gospel, you can change one life, which ultimatly can change hundreds!! After Abinadi died, Alma preached what he learned from Abinadi and ending up baptising 450 people..which led to more baptisms later on... So, keep that in mind.. you may be there to change one person, which ultimatly could change hundreds of lives!! And that one person may not happen until the end of your mission!!' I actually read that part in Mosiah like last week. Im up to Alma 53 as of today, so im cruising right along. This would be my 1st time going thru it. So its starting to warm up a bit. I have no sympathy for the snow CT got, because we´ve been getting hammered. Um, yeah. Nothing really exciting happened this week. OH. SO I went on my first Golden split (thats with someone I was at the MTC with) So, while we were at the train station, some reallly tall & big guy approached us & started talking to us (Me, my comp, & 2 other elders). My comp and the other elder had to go otherwise they were gunna miss their train, so they left him to us 2 new guys. I couldnt understand him for jack. Luckily he kinda spoke extremly broken english. Unluckily he was nuts. Like, completely crazy. He was telling us how we can't go back to the US because its gunna have a big depression and a fault line is gunna break & kill everyone. So he was telling us to join fallout communities. He gave us a list of websites so we could arm purselves with knowledge. I set up a meeting again with him this thursday hahaha. OH, and during that split we went dooring, and I handed out my 1st pamphlet! WOOO. It was pretty cool. But yeah, thats about it for this week. Maybe something more exciting will happen this week. Apperantly today is stare-at-missionaries day. Its funny. Okay, im gunna go write & download videos & pictures, so ill talk to you later. Tschüß!
