Hellooo
So, yeah, not much to write about seeing as I wrote 4 days ago. Its been kinda busy, but a different kind of busy. The Golden is in Gera, which is about 40 min. east of us. Then I had a split on Thursday with Elder Gardner, one of the Zone leaders. He was actually my roomate in the hotel my 1st day in-country. We did a lot of knocking and a lot of streets. We found 3 potential investigators in 1 appartment! I have to say, I think my german is improving from talking to people . I can read it pretty well now, and Im understanding a lot more. I Also had a talk last sunday. I guess it well, seeing as no one said anything bad about it hahaha. Um, yeah, we have ZOKO in Nürnberg this thursday, then Im going on a split with Elder Anderson Friday into Saturday. OH. One other thing. I checked my debit card, and I cant pull anything out. Am I empty?   I have 0 munny. Its not that bad, I can eat this week lol and MSF comes in next week, but yeah, just letting you know. Thats about it. Its gotten colder, not alot of snow, but colder. I think it was in the negatives yesterday and today. Yeah, thats about it. Hope everyone is well and its not too cold. Yeah, if I think of anything else Ill let you know. K, tschüß!

Hellooo

So yeah, I got to watch a Golden (new missionary). I wont lie, we didnt do too much because he´s brand new, and Im still not very comfortable with my German. But we did do some stuff, so it wasnt all a waste. He had the same MTC teachers as I did! OH, and I got the valentines letters right on time! Ill keep and eye out for Elder Rapps friend, Elder Liebelt. Is he German? My companions good. It was a little weird letting go of my father (missionaries first trainor is called their father), but it had to happen at some point. My new comp is Elder Williams. And I did get to see Elder Anderson! Ill prolly have a split with him soon. He´s only in his 5th cycle, and he´s the District Leader, which means Ill be going on a lot of splits in the next 3 weeks. This week was/is pretty hectic. I had to watch the Golden for 3 days, then PDAY today, our District meeting tomorrow and Im going on a split wih one of the zone leaders right after, then on Sat. theres a district leader meeting in Erfurt, so I gotta go to that, then we have a game thing at the branch, then church on Sun. and P-day again on Mon. THEN District meeting on Wed, Zone Confrence in Nürnberg on Thurs., prolly another split after that, and itll be week 4 of the cycle. Its flying by. Glad to hear the snows going down. And Im glad Chad...and Frau liked the letter I sent, haha. So, we share a floor in a building for our branch, its not very big. Its prolly the size of our sacrament hall, maybe smaller. Mah ja, I intend on helping a little with the punks mission. I still intend on joining the police. They pay for college and I get paid, so hopefully that'll help some. We really dont have anyone to teach right now. Our last invesigator, Robert, is moving to a town out of our reach, and we´ve just been walking around the park looking for people. Its reeeaaalllyyyy slow. But yeah, thats been my week and a half. Pretty boring. OH. I found  Italian Blood Oranges. Theyre basically amazing. Ive been eating a lot of them, plus clementines. I took 60€ out of my debit card cuz i need money for food cuz im running kinda low, so just lettin ya know. I also just finished Jacob in the BOM auf Deutsch. Its getting easier to understand. I also had a talk on sunday, which I guess went okay. It was still a little on the shorter side cuz i speak kinda fast, but thats about it.  Ill write again on Monday, so if I forget anything youll know in 4 days. K, tschüß

February 7,2011

Hellooo. everyone
So, i guess it was an okay week. We had pizza twice this week (which was pretty darn good), I FINALLY got a Tschüß Book (I´ll show you when I get home). We went to a cool Schloss, which is basically a palace with a cool park around it. We bought hair-growth stuff to make our beards grow fast (it doesnt work, but I dont need it anyways), on P-day we went to Buchenwald again. It was the same as last time. We got Elder Stradling abmelded, so he´s no longer a resident here. (Elder Stradling goes home Wednesday.) We woke up early and went to bed late a couple days ago because of the guy below us blasting music. It stinks. Its not even good music. TRANSFER CALLS CAME IN. Im staying here, so you can keep mailing me. And my new comp (who no one has heard of) is the new District leader. And Elder Anderson (my MTC comp) is coming in our district! WOOO. My new comp will be Elder Williams. He´s been in Ahnsbach with Elder Walker (Aussy from my group). I dont know anything about him, so we´ll see. I feel bad for CT. snows a bummer. Its been really nice here. Its almost 60, and its been windy, but nice. And im sure your elders will stay put when The Hartford Mission becomes the Boston Mass Mission. When our missions combined, they lost and gained elders. A lot of them werent very happy, but oh well. Yes, i am keeping a journal. Several, actually. I have my regular journal, a doodle journal, and a tschüß book. I dont have pictures from my ward yet. Theres only 3 kids in the ward, 2 girls (14 and 7) and a boy (12). Thats it. SO, Pres. Ninow may actually combine Weimar and Jena areas in a couple transfers, so it wouldnt exist anymore. Its completly understandable. Weimar is the smallest area in the mission, and theres nothing to do around here, so it would be easier to combine.  Yeah, thats about it. Event cards (z.B. Birthdays, Valentines...) stink. They´re all wrapped up and you cant look inside them. And they´re just boring. So I find it easier (and cheaper) to write my own cards (as you have or will find out). Um, yeah thats about all I can think of. Im really bad at keeping track of stuff. If I think of something Ill let you know. K, have a nice week and dont freeze to death! Tschüß!
